Autumn operates its transition between Indian summer and winter a little abruptly.
The days are getting shorter and cooler temperatures are required. The novelties are partly delivered and I wanted to share with you my inspirations for the season.
First of all, beyond all these cozy and warm materials that are present in plaids and bedspreads, it was the 70s, dear to our childhood, that inspired me.
The geometric and zig zag patterns on the woolly, long-haired supports transport us in the blink of an eye to this daring past.
We see them a lot in the press, in ready-to-wear, on wallpapers but also in certain TV series. In particular OVNI (the CANAL series) which you may have also seen and which amused me a lot. (By the way, I recommend it)
Yes of course we are far from the first degree of the time, this freshness and these colors.
But mixing these patterns with current trends and your bohemian, wabi sabi or contemporary interiors of 2022 seemed interesting to me. I hope you like it as much as I do.
I immerse myself again for a brief memory in a house in the country, I find myself humming this old hit, … what was it again?
Another crush guided me this season. The chevron, inspired by the urban countryside. Get away from the city for a weekend! Farm Life, the wool and linen chevron shows off its little “manor” side. My favorite ! the Dalila plaid, not fragile at all, it can accompany a picking in the woods, come back from a walk and will cover you at nightfall while reading.
I was also surprised by the Kilim-inspired linen / wool, it takes us on a journey to the heart of winter. The snowy mountain is nearby. The Kilim theme accessories with its messy fringes transport us to the great outdoors of the Colorado Rockies.
I imagine myself watching the snow fall continuously by the light of my Kilim candle.
Will winter ever end?
